Apple TV HD 960x540 (16x9) (30fps)

By: Nate Caplin

  • Creates 960x540 (16x9) 1:1 frame rate (i.e., 29.97fps if source is 29.97fps) AVC/H.264 Main Profile MPEG-4 output for AppleTV—but also compatible with QuickTime 7 or higher, Adobe Flash Player 10 (or 9.0.115 or higher), or Microsoft Silverlight 2 or higher. Subject matter of source video can be complex and active (i.e., action movie trailer). Source file should be 16:9/1.78:1 aspect HD 720p or larger. If source video is interlaced, use a Deinterlace filter with an Adaptive Blend mode to remove comb artifacts and preserve smooth motion. Ideal for high quality AppleTV device presentation of high-motion content made with HD video cameras.
